Are you willing
to talk with us?
The reason to use pre-written questions is simple.
It is best not to attempt this alone; why not? The answer may not be what you suspect. The one thing there is to fear is yourself. If the sound of knocking behind you startles you so significantly you jump from your chair and break a leg, you will be grateful you are not alone.
Attempting this by yourself can induce the fear response that many people have seen on television and in the movies. We have all seen shows and movies where horrifying things jump out of the darkness and attack you. When I first started this, I was not alone. If I had been, I could see myself becoming frightened enough that I may have run out of the room. The minute you turn out the lights, all the paranormal movies you have seen will pop up in your mind. Its unavoidable.
Of course, you can ask your questions. We recommend that you do create your own questions, but in keeping with Their Rules we recommend using ours. (at least at first)
Each page of questions has two blank sections at the bottom to encourage asking questions based on the direction the gathering is going.
For instance, if you discover you are talking to a child, you might want to ask, “What’s your favorite toy?”
At least three people should participate.
Assign each guest a job; Monitoring Equipment Taking Notes-
Have one guest listen to the playback recorder or parabolic type microphone.
Example: Your guest, Mary asks "How many are here? " The person monitoring replies "I just heard four knocks"
After each question wait at least 30 seconds before talking again
EVP responses are not instantaneous and require at the least
30 seconds before you resume questions.
Don't forget a TIMER
